After the hassle of the rain and moving the tables from outside to inside, it was great to actually sit down and eat dinner. As expected, Ric prepared an incredible meal. It was relatively simple – prime rib, fresh snap green beans and rosemary red potatoes – and it was delicious.

After dinner, we offered a champagne toast to the man of the night, Grant. Twenty years in the Navy is something to be proud of, and we wanted to make sure Grant enjoyed his night in the spotlight. And to finish the meal, Ric served his homemade Irish Cream Cheesecake, drizzled with chocolate and topped with sweet whipping cream. Forget the calories, gents, and eat up!

I tried to get photos of the table, but I don’t think I really captured how beautiful everything was. Trust me, though. It was really quite elegant. Ric sets one impressive table.
